The food was great! You definitely get your moneys worth. The ramen portions are great if you are very hungry, so you'll definitely have some to take home. The miso ramen was great, and you can add hot chili oil to your ramen found at the table. There is not much service, kind of do it yourself. No one is there to wait on you which also has its perks. The ambiance was very mellow and clean. Hours are great too!

Oh no! I've looked forward to coming and tasting this awesome looking spot. I ordered a beef rice bowl (not ramen) and so disappointed. They just opened the doors 10 minutes ago so I expected a hot meal but the beef was cool not warm at all. When you moved it around the rice is steaming but that's it. Maybe this is how it should be but seeing as this is my first time, I was disappointed. Now the service here was typical, nice cashier since you order your food through a kiosk and come to the cashier to be charged. She was pleasant. But again the taste is good, nice flavor and mixed up it taste really good with a nice mound of seaweed on top. And the accompanying miso soup was flavorful. The actual restaruant is pleasant with its imitation wooden floors, but it looks nice. And having a water pitcher for those of us who dont drink pop, really helps. All in all i would come back to try the ramen, and than maybe it'll change my score but foe the most part, it's a good place to eat. Update: i finished my meal and wow it was actually really good. I guess I needed to trust the process of mixing it up. 4 star!

The new Wu's Ramen in Oaklawn is a true hidden gem that deserves every bit of recognition. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a treat, and I wasn't disappointed. What immediately sets The New Wu's Ramen apart is its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The dimly lit interior, adorned with subtle Asian-inspired decor, creates an ambiance that's both relaxing and authentic. It's the perfect setting for a comforting meal. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: The Spicy Miso Ramen. The menu offers a variety of options, each more enticing than the last. I decided to order the Spicy Miso Ramen, and it was a revelation. The broth, a combination of pork and chicken, was robust and flavorful, with a delightful kick of heat from the chili paste and chili oil. The generous toppings included tender slices of pork chashu, bean sprouts, green onion, corn, a perfectly cooked egg, sea weed, bok choy, and skinny chili. Each ingredient added layers of flavor and texture to every spoonful. It was a bowl of pure comfort and satisfaction with just the right amount of spice. But what truly surprised me was the depth of flavor in the broth. It was clear that the chefs at Wu's Ramen take their craft seriously. The umami notes were prominent, and the balance of flavors was impeccable. It's the kind of ramen that lingers on your taste buds long after the meal is over. Wu's Ramen is a delightful addition to Oaklawn's dining scene. If you're a ramen enthusiast or simply looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. The dedication to quality, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service make it a five-star destination that I can't recommend highly enough. I'll be returning to explore more of their menu, and I encourage you to do the same!

This was soooooo good!! The best imitation crab I've ever had. Why they lost a point? There weren't enough veggies in my ramen but loved the seafood ramen bowl!!! I literally love corn in my ramen and I got like two pegs. LOL would have liked mushroom. I didn't get any bok choy but my daughter ordered the same exact dish and got some! What I ordered: We ordered the seafood ramen bowls. She added a second egg. I changed my broth to the creamy miso broth. It's sooooooo good I highly recommend! Why I will be back? I loved the cleanliness and order of this restaurant. The food is good and closer to home than Chinatown. We will be back!
